The sky is not the limit
A giant leap for logistics
In 1969, Neil Armstrong set foot on the moon. This was a giant leap for mankind. Just a few months later, three different pioneers – Adrian Dalsey, Larry Hillblom, and Robert Lynn – created another legendary moment. They founded DHL: the first international delivery service. This was a smart initiative that grew into the largest logistics company in the world. How did they do this? By always continuing to push the boundaries, even today. And now we’re tackling the ultimate border: delivering to the moon. A mission that Neil would be proud of.

Strategy 2025
Delivering excellence in a digital world
We carefully review our strategy every five years. Strategy 2025 is the guideline on which we base our working practices - Delivering Excellence in a Digital World. The strategy summarizes the way we rebuild our sector using digitization with the aim of connecting people and improving lives. In doing so, we continue to position ourselves as the global logistics service provider. Strategy 2025 is ‘powered by’ digitization.
Sustainability
Reducing carbon emissions
At DHL, we want to contribute to a more sustainable world by reducing our carbon emissions. We take various measures to achieve this objective. Our new buildings are gas-free and equipped with solar panels. And for the delivery we switch to vehicles that run on electricity or HVO100 (a sustainable fossil-free fuel, produced from waste, residual oils and fats).
DHL Cares
As one for others
Transporting packages is what we do best, but we are more than a logistics partner. Our DHL Cares Foundation supports charities and social initiatives in the Benelux, not only with funds, but also with advice, resources, and people. By combining our strengths with those of our customers and partners, we’re helping society move forward.
Striving forward with first choice
DHL has wonderful clients all over the world, and we'd like to keep it that way. That's why we ensure that we are and remain their first choice through our excellent service, as well as through our First Choice improvement program which helps everyone in our organization to take strides forward every single day. The motto: “Everybody. Everyday. Everywhere. A little bit better.”
